Tempera

We painted with tempera on boards and wooden surfaces, on a base of gesso.   The paint was mixed with egg yolk, and apart from the egg going off at various times , it was interesting and very hard.  Looking close up you can see some of the thousands of delicate marks which were made by the artists over the last 10 weeks.

Painting with the tempera was not easy  but the results are amazing.
