	Ann has not been very well lately but being a true artist she has done a beautifully coloured Bauhaus project, keep strong Ann.

 sadly Ann died in April 2007, we will miss her and I will keep her work displayed here so we can all enjoy her wonderful pictures.

I have been painting with Harriet for the last six years. I've enjoyed moving on from watercolours to water-soluble oils and exploring a whole new world of artists such as Edward Hopper. Wolf Kahn and Monet.

In the still life picture above I loved working the background in reds and purples and then squiggling the shapes in a myriad of different colours.

I am thrilled with the progress I've made thanks to Harriet's enthusiasm and patience not to mention her guiding hand -  Its all been such good fun - a whole day of painting - the high point of my week !
