Vilhelm Hammershoi

This project was painted by most people in tempera and some in oils. The Danish painter painted quiet and subdued images of interiors, the paintings were mainly of the private apartments he lived in and although looking at the pictures of his interiors , one would think he had rooms full of clutter. When looking at his paintings it looks as if he lived in nearly empty rooms.

The paintings of all the student/artists reflect those latter ideas, they are peaceful and sober images painted with enormous care and dedication, this has been a very difficult but very successful project.
